Evan Bailey is operations manager for IdeaBase, a College of Communication and Information collaborative project focused on creating an experiential learning experience mirroring a real-life agency setting and structure. At IdeaBase, Evan oversees student employment and training, agency traffic, creative coaching, and outbound agency marketing efforts.
Evan has over a decade of advertising agency and production management experience, including six years in the Office of Student Media at Kent State, where he oversaw production of the Daily Kent Stater and five student-run magazines. Evan Bailey holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and master’s degree in media management from Kent State and teaches as an assistant professor in the Public Relations and Advertising sequences. Bailey's research interests include graphic design, audience analysis, new media technology, and live entertainment marketing.
In his spare time, Bailey works with SFX Entertainment, one of the world's leading live entertainment producers, to develop marketing strategies for concerts in over 100 markets in the US, Canada, Mexico and Latin America.
